Castelli Estate

What is Castelli Estate all about?

Castelli Estate is one of the fastest-rising Western Australian boutique wine brands today, forward-thinking and innovative while remaining closely connected to its Italian roots. Family-owned and operated from day one, we proudly display the Castelli name on every bottle, consistently proving our passion for wine made with a relentless commitment to quality.

With deep roots in Italy, wine has always been in the blood of the Castelli family, and the Italian philosophy of making wine you would be proud to share at the table with friends and family remains strong. From the small village of San Giorgio a Liri to the vineyards of Denmark, despite the swift growth and success of the Castelli Estate brand, it remains a part of both worlds, proud of the connection to family and culture that continues today.

Sam’s passion for wine started as a young worker on his family’s farm in Italy. Sam’s extensive history in the engineering and construction sectors saw him, with the support of his wife Maria, enter into a successful business partnership with three other Italian migrants to develop what is today the ASX-listed United Group Limited (UGL).

Our Vineyards

Making wines with true flavour, consistency and character begins with the search for the best fruit. We collaborate with growing partners in specific subregions throughout Southern WA, each boasting distinct characteristics and micro-climates, from which we can select the perfect varietals. From Pinot and Chardonnay in Denmark to Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz in Frankland River and Riesling in Mt Barker, each of our regions has been carefully identified for its strengths – a key component of what makes our wines so consistent in their taste and quality.

Our Community

While not everyone at Castelli Estate shares a last name, every member of our extensive team, from winemakers to warehouse and sales staff, is a proud part of the Castelli Estate family. From small beginnings, today Castelli wines are sold around the world, with exports including China, the UK, Singapore and Japan, and have operations in both Perth and Denmark along with growing partners across the Southwest. Our winemaking methods may have evolved, but the driving passion and ethos of creating wines made to share around the table has never changed. No matter the size and scale of growth, our relentless commitment to quality will always be what sets us, and our team, apart.
