You’ll discover cellar doors and vineyards producing a diversity of cool climate wines that are fresh and distinct. The wines are lighter and more subtle and have a long ripening cycle which gives you a stronger density in the fruit driven flavour.

THE CLIMATE

The cool climate Bathurst Wine Region in the Central Ranges of New South Wales covers both Bathurst and Oberon. The vineyard's elevations range from 700 to more than 1000 metres, and  warm days with cool nights extend the ripening period to enhance the more subtle, and often lower alcohol levels associated with cool climate wines.

THE SOIL

The soil consists of granite sand with little organic matter. Rainwater that flows over nearby large rocks is collected to provide limited irrigation. The grapes are hand-harvested and fermented on-site with minimal intervention.
