John is the acknowledged master of Riesling in Australia. Over his illustrious career, spanning nearly sixty years, he has been awarded over 450 Trophies and Gold Medals.

Keeda Zilm, the Custodian
Keeda has formally taken over the helm of the winemaking team at Vickery. She is now the key custodian of the Vickery philosophy, style and technique. Her respect for tradition ensures that John’s extensive winemaking experience will continue to deliver premier incarnations of Australian Riesling for generations to come.
Judged by his peers as Australia’s Greatest Living Winemaker in 2003 and awarded the Order of Australia in 2007 for his contribution to Australian winemaking.
