Western Australia - Margaret River

Margaret River is one of the world's most remote wine regions, home to ancient forests, unspoiled beaches, and rare plants and animals. Additionally, it is home to passionate winemakers who produce premium wines.

Margaret River was once a secluded haven for surfers and dairy farmers, located three hours from Perth. Scientists thought it was ideal for growing high-quality grapes in the 1950s and 1960s, and things moved quickly.

It is now home to more than 150 premium wineries, and visitors frequently outnumber locals. It is well-known for its elegant Cabernet Sauvignon and full-bodied white wines, which go well with the exceptional produce from the area.

THE CLIMATE

The weather is pleasant throughout the year due to the Mediterranean climate. Summer is hot and dry, with afternoon sea breezes keeping things cool, and winter is mild. Winter brings the majority of the rain, but there is also a lot of sunshine.
